Important information from Mrs. Salberg for Bennett High School students for March 24,2020

hi everyone this is Albert here just wanted to share some information I've been getting some emails and some questions from both students and parents so I wanted to reach out give you a little bit of an update on what's been happening in what we have been working on so first thing I want to share with my juniors is what's going on with the SAT and I know you guys are just hoping you going to take that test right away but the state hasn't come out dates will be and since we are out of school for sure until the 17th hour April 14th testing date is obviously not going to happen so we are waiting for more information from the state of Colorado to give you the information that will need we're hoping to just do the test later for you guys and your little bit worried about what that was like going to college next year is fine for those sorts of things he haven't got any information on that yet but I will note to self right now so they tune a lot of you have asked a little bit about what's going on with prom we've been in contact with state and federal leader in regards to the covid-19 the and we are being advised to cancel prom at this time so prom that was scheduled for the first part of May is not going to happen I am sorry I know so many of you work so hard with confessions Miss puff and Miss Lang have done so much work all of the decorations are in the top room right now so we aren't sure what that was like if we can try to reschedule something smaller moving forward or if it's completely gone I don't know but at this time it is canceled for May 2020 let you know where my senior I know this year has been kind of rough wild actually just the last two weeks but we are working on a little bit more for you guys in regards to what's happening I can tell you at this time we are going to cancel the graduation the end of May we just don't know what that was like at this point of what the governor is going to do as far as the sun. I'm hoping that we can reschedule that so maybe postponed would be a better word right now or sometime in July maybe June Lake June July to celebrate you guys into didn't you get the recognition that your family gets the recognition of all of your hard work for the last four years we want to send you off in a good way or you go to college or off to work or wherever you're headed the military whatever that looks like so we are working on that but at this time I do believe we will be canceling it or postponing it maybe for later in the summer. Is my true hope but until I get more information from the state rock and roll which is why this is taking a long time to put out cuz I just don't know what to tell everybody so again I'm sorry I'm sorry I want to try to reach out to you guys and make sure that you were getting logged into your Google, make sure you are communicating with your this is going to get rolling on Monday May 3rd or March 30th so we want to make sure that you guys are logged in if you don't know your logins or you don't know you're supposed to those on the Bennett website website to high school website and get that there if you struggle with that you can also download the Bennett High School app onto your phone and you can shoot an email out to your teachers will answer you right away and get that taken care of forward is kind of being finalized I just been waiting on a few teachers college classes in a few other things to put up such a schedule together we are going to be using what is known as an for you guys to log in and out of I know some of you have trouble with technology I know some of you don't have strong internet where you live and that's okay just make sure you're communicating another ways with your teachers and roll work with you know that this is not a gacha not a problem with that so we are going to work with you on that street out communicate let us know what we can do I'm going to be sending out some other information later on at the end of spring break to get you guys going on that but in the meantime enjoy your spring break spending time with your family and look forward to some information coming in either email form another video Facebook website safe everybody and I will have more information as we learn stuff so have a great day everyone
