National ACT Exams - Students wishing to take the ACT test on a National Testing Day need to register at www.actstudent.org.
National SAT Exams - Beginning with the graduating class of 2018, all juniors will take the SAT in April as a State mandated test. Students wishing to re-take the SAT test on a National Testing Day need to register at http://sat.collegeboard.com/home
Khan Academy- Offers free virtual academic assistance and practice exams for the SAT/PSAT, ACT, and general academic support to students. To create a free account and get started utilizing these services, go to https://www.khanacademy.org/
NCAA Clearinghouse - Students wanting to play sports at a college or university MUST register with the NCAA Clearinghouse eligibility center. The requirements vary depending upon which level the college or university is. Students should register during their junior year in high school. The NCAA clearinghouse can be accessed at http://web3.ncaa.org/ECWR2/NCAA_EMS/NCAA.jsp
Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) - Through WUE, students in Western states may enroll in participating two-year and four-year public colleges and universities at a reduced tuition level: up to 150 percent of the institution's regular resident tuition. For answers to many commonly asked questions about WUE, visit http://wiche.edu/askwiche
College Opportunity Fund (COF) - Free money! If you are planning to attend college in Colorado, it is vital that you sign up for COF!! It is a stipend given by the state of Colorado to students who are CO residents and chose to attend a participating Colorado pubic and private institution. The amount you receive is based on the specific amount of the stipend for that year and the number of credits you take each semester. Currently, it is $94/credit hour for public institutions and $47/credit hour for participating private institutions. Sign up online at https://cof.college-assist.org/
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - Students MUST complete FAFSA in order to be eligible for any federal financial aid. This includes grants, select scholarships, and work study programs from individual institutions. To complete your FAFSA, please go to http://fafsa.gov.
